Just thought - seeing as we've got a defence strategies topic - we could also post which troops we're using to attack, and which combinations of troops are most effective against certain types of bases

I went for 30 hogs, (with 5 more in my cc) 10 wizards, 6 giants, 2 healing spells and 2 rage spells last night for the wars. Used the hogs to get rid of defences, then dropped giants and wizards to clear up, with the giants covering the wizards.
I'd change to 4 healing spells next time though, coz the hogs fell at the last hurdle due to lvl 6 wizards going at them.

Could've got 2 stars with this setup in the last war but didn't realise their th was outside until after I'd used all of my troops to get over 50% - because I'm a knob head.

lvl 6 wizards are gonna one shot hogs regardless of the healing spell - pulling out an opponent's clan castle and killing the contents is a must if attacking with hogs.

SC has made the hogs really squishy in an attempt to balance them

Did someone with TH 7 have a good attacking strategy? I didn't get one.
